Tu-Long Restaurant

 

As the feng Shui astrologer predicted 18April,2007, is a auspicious day to launch a new food business venture, they indeed were two big restaurant opened today. So this day marks the birth of the 2nd outlet of TU-LONG Restaurant, which is located at B-G04-5, B-01-5, Block B, Warisan Square, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. After the successful opening of its first restaurant at Midvalley City Mall in Kuala Lumpur city 0n the 5 January 2007.

So whats all the buzz about this Shanghai-nesse food restaurant? Firstly the restaurant boast of having Chef Simon Sang Koon Sung who holds the world record in the Guinness Book of records for making 8,192 Noodle strings from a single piece of dough in 59.29 seconds back in 1994. Secondly apart from Chef Simon they employ 13 other Shanghai chef to serve you so that each bowl of noodles are specially pulled and that’s makes every bowl of La Mian fresh and irresistibly sumptuous.

Tu-Long Objectives is to have a 5 Star environment couple with 5 Star services and but at very affordable and reasonable price across all the 100 over items inclusive desserts, main courses and drinks.

Specialty dishes here includes La Mian (Pulled Noodles) and Xiao Long Bao (Meat Dumplings). I know that i will never forget that Crispy Roast Pork.
Pulled Noodles were the ancient method of making fine smooth and springy noodles when eaten. It contains less oil and the quality of recipe is maintain because without it, the noodle will not be abled to be pulled from the dough.

The restaurant occupies 5 shop lots(5000 sqft), which accommodate 200 persons and has 3 VIP rooms. The Interior design is of Classical Chinese finishing with red and gold wall with Gold Dragon carving.

To grace the auspicious opening of these event were top Malaysian Chinese MY.FM Radio Celebrity Mr. Jack Lim Teik Yin, Miss Malaysia Asia Pacific 2006 beauty Ms. Wong Sook Kuan and others Malaysian TV artistes, not forgetting the all presences of 10 Lion’s dance and Dragon dance parade to usher in the ceremony.
